My approach to therapy is to create a safe and comforting environment. My goal is to facilitate my clients through the challenges that may be interfering with their ability to function at their maximum ability in today's world. Creating strong therapeutic connections with my clients is one of the essential steps in the healing process. I offer a compassionate and caring stance to help foster your own individual strengths. I work with individuals, couples and families from all walks of life. I offer an affirming stance on gender identity and sexual orientation and approach challenges through a systemic lens that looks at culture and family of origin legacies. Early in my career, I worked as a Hotline Counselor for GMHC in NYC, offering counseling and educational support around HIV/AIDS and now include Prep, PEP, HIV testing and HIV care options in my practice.
