Joseph Allaire

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with years of experience working in Psychiatry and Critical Care. I have experience treating various Psychiatric conditions and enjoy working with people in all life stages. In conjunction with medication treatment, I believe in a wholistic approach to treating patients and incorporate CBT and Positive Psychology to achieve a maximum state of well-being when designing a treatment plan. I also employ motivational interviewing with my patients to facilitate the achievement of small goals, which add up to big accomplishments over time! I’m aware of the continued stigma of mental illness in society and I strive to educate people that mental health issues can happen to anyone. I find it particularly rewarding to see patients’ symptoms improve and I’m passionate about playing the crucial role in that progress.
