I am a board-certified Colorectal surgeon. I have many years of experience treating patients with benign and malignant conditions of the colon, rectum, and anal canal. I am also passionate about colorectal cancer prevention. Screening colonoscopy is the best way to prevent colorectal cancers. Some of the common diseases that I typically treat include: anal abscess/fistula, anal fissures, hemorrhoids, condyloma (anal warts), anal cancer, colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, fecal incontinence, and surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis). Our office is attached to our AAAHC Medicare Deemed Status Ambulatory Surgery Center. We perform colonoscopies and minor anorectal surgeries in a safe outpatient setting. A little bit about myself. I met my husband while I was doing my surgical residency in Boston. He is a diehard Boston sports fan, and I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to our love for travel, we also enjoy giving back to the community and the underserved population. I have partnered with Cristo Rey High School as a part of their Work Study Program.
