Joseph Fincher

I am an LPC-Associate, under the supervision of Noel C. Gonzalez, PhD, LPC-Supervisor, providing counseling services in the Houston Metropolitan area. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment disorders related to cancer, HIV, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Along with traditional talk-therapy, I am trained to offer Sandtray therapies. My approach to counseling is based in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Existential theory. I also apply a Geek Therapy approach when appropriate with clients. I work with clients age 15 through end-of-life, and my goal is to help those seeking to find balance when life events have gone askew.
