Joseph Rowney

I am a masters degree trained, board certified, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I can prescribe medication and offer ongoing medication management, I can conduct psychiatric evaluations, and provide short term psychotherapy utilizing CBT, psychodynamic and mindfulness based techniques amongst others. I have extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, addiction, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and much more. I believe in a personalized, holistic and collaborative approach to my treatments and I utilize the most current evidence available. I have great respect for the courage it takes for patients to improve their lives through the help of psychiatric care. I strive to create an authentic and warm therapeutic relationship and a space where patients will feel like they can be their true selves. Through medication and therapy, I hope to help patients find relief, find solutions and find the inner resources to change their lives for the better.
