Joshua Moore

Joshua L. Moore, DPM FACFAS, is an internationally recognized and respected foot and ankle surgeon, speaker, and educator. Dr. Moore is a Fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. A graduate of Des Moines University's College of Podiatric Medicine in 2009, Dr. Moore completed a high surgical volume residency at The University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Moore is proficient in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. Before he arrived at Total Foot Care, Dr. Moore served as Professor and Division head of Clinical Medicine and Surgery at Kent State University's College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH, and as a member of the department of Surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. During his time there, Dr. Moore was an active surgeon, educator, and was promoted to Clinical Professor of Surgery, Assistant Dean of the medical school, and Medical Director of the region’s largest Foot & Ankle facility, Temple University’s Foot & Ankle Institute. Dr. Moore has also served as the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, Great Lakes region secretary/treasurer, Medical Director of North Coast Surgery Center in Brooklyn Heights, OH, and continues to be a Podiatric Editor in Chief for StatPearls. Dr. Moore is a highly skilled and board-certified surgeon and specializes in foot and ankle sports injuries, trauma, pediatrics, and overall foot and ankle medicine and surgery. He has treated collegiate and professional athletes from across the globe and lectures on a national level. Dr. Moore is actively accepting new patients and is excited to provide the best care to his new patients in the DC/Baltimore Metro areas of Maryland. Dr. Moore has worked with the LGBTQ+ community throughout his career, both in medical arenas and having served in many roles within Stonewall Sports Philadelphia, including Commissioner.
