Joy Belonger
I am a queer, transfeminine poet, educator, and social worker who prioritizes relational and trauma-responsive therapy. Anti-racism, decolonization, fat liberation, and disability justice inform my life and how I do this work. Intersectionality is core. I love getting the opportunity to work collaboratively with other queer and trans folks or anyone interested in living more authentically, no matter how confronting. While I’m currently a clinical intern in my final year of school, I have previous experience in medical settings, groups homes, and schools, working especially closely with neurodivergent, queer, and trans adolescents.
