Joy O’Brien

Joy is an experienced nurse practitioner with a background in psychiatry, family medicine, and addiction medicine. She works with adolescents, young adults, and adults with a collaborative, client-centered approach, and will work with you to help figure out how to reach your mental health goals. Joy has experience working with clients living with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, history of trauma, and substance use issues. She provides gender affirming care and is familiar with LGBTQIA+ concerns as well as non-heteronormative relationships. She believes that every person requires an individualized plan to help them achieve their goals.
