He/Him

EMDR trained. I am accepting new clients. With over 16 years experience working in Vancouver in addiction services and mental health as a Clinical Counsellor and also as a Clinical Supervisor, I have recently moved back to Winnipeg where it is my hope to continue my passion of doing one to one clinical work. I have worked extensively within the 2SLGTBQ* community, addictions, mental health, couples counselling, grief and loss and trauma. Working primarily from a Solution Focused and Narrative lens, I have also worked with DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing and Imago Therapy for Couples Counselling. The word Renge from the chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo, means Lotus in Japanese. It is a flower that grows in the deepest and darkest of mud. This represents our potential to bloom against adversity. That regardless of darkness, there is always hope. That winter can always turn to spring.
