Therapy is a place of unburdening. Together, we’ll create a space to unpack and release the worries, fears, and doubts holding you back from living fully in your authenticity. Typically, I work with young people early in their therapeutic journeys — many of whom fall somewhere on the queer or LGBTQ+ spectrum. Oftentimes, they want to dig into the root cause of their mental health challenges and explore aspects of their identity, but might not have the language to fully express themselves or who they are. As a queer person of color, I know what it’s like to feel unsure of where you fit in. While your lived experience is unique, I can empathize with feeling anxious or self conscious about how you show up around family, friends, and society. Through this experience, I’ve developed a holistic, empathetic approach that guides clients through a process of identity integration. We’ll get to know all the different parts that make up who you are to create a sense of wholeness in how you define yourself. As a result, my hope is that you’ll feel more confident, accepting of yourself, and in control over your life’s trajectory.
