Julie Heustis

My style is warm and authentic and focused on what goals people have for counseling. I provide a supportive space for people to explore gender identity and expression and honor what feels most authentic to them. I meet regularly with people in the LGBTQ community and work to connect people with additional supports and resources if needed. If you're struggling to cope with painful emotions or events you have been through I provide a validating space to talk. I specialize in evidence based treatments to support people with: PTSD/Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Concerns, Substance Abuse and Addiction. I operate with a Social Justice lens which is important to me. When I meet with people I prioritize providing a safe and supportive environment in which they can focus on their concerns and work toward their own goals and hopes for their lives.
