Juno VanWeelden
Juno VanWeelden (any pronouns) believes therapy works best when it's collaborative, playful, and grounded in curiosity. A Licensed Creative Arts Therapist - Limited Permit (LCAT-LP) with a Master's in Drama Therapy from New York University, Juno trusts that every client holds an inner wisdom that can guide their growth. They draw on a range of drama therapy approaches, including Developmental Transformations (DvT), Playback Theatre, Role Method, and projective techniques, to create a space where exploration feels safe and change can take root. Juno works with clients across the lifespan, with a special focus on early childhood and family work. They have experience supporting neurodivergent youth, survivors of complex trauma (including trauma from systemic oppression and religious abuse), and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Clients often come seeking support with behavioral concerns, identity exploration, emotional regulation, grief, or challenges related to neurodivergence. Juno's mission is to look beyond behaviors to uncover the needs beneath, helping clients connect with their inner world and build resources for a meaningful, satisfying life. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community with a background in the performing arts and life experience across the U.S. and abroad, Juno brings openness, creativity, and respect for each client's unique story.
