Katie Imborek

I am a family medicine doctor and the co-Director of the UI Health Care LGBTQ+ Clinic in Iowa City, Iowa. I have been caring for queer folx and their families for my entire career. I provide gender affirming care (including primary care, hormones, and referrals to specialty services) for trans and non-binary patients. I provide well person preventive care, chronic disease management, and care for acute concerns for patients of all ages. I routinely educate medical students, resident physicians, and practicing health care providers about queer medicine and inclusive health care for LGBTQ+ folx.
