Kayla Ulsby

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and have been working as a therapist since May 2020. I enjoy working with individuals ages 10 and older and have experience working in a variety of settings. I specialize in working with immigrants and refugees (can provide sessions in Spanish or English), pre-teens/adolescents, young adults, and adults who experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD or other trauma symptoms. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent-identifying (ADHD and autism) and LGBTQIA+ individuals. My approach blends my training and expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and client-centered therapy. I am also an EMDR therapist and can provide EMDR services in both Spanish and English. I believe in collaborating with clients to develop meaningful therapy goals that meet the client where they are at. I also recognize the impact of the environmental factors on mental health and wellness, and I regularly engage in advocacy for and with clients at individual and policy levels to create change.
