Kemylee Brisport
I work with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC adults who've been doing the emotional labor of holding everything together at work, in their families, in rooms where they're the only one. My clients come in carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief they've mostly handled alone. Some are sorting through identity, coming out, or being out in places that don't feel safe. Some are navigating chosen family, distance from family of origin, or the exhaustion of translating themselves all day. Some are just tired of surviving and want to know what actually living feels like. You won't have to teach me the basics of your identity or brace for a question that lands wrong. My approach is gender-affirming, and gender, sexuality, race, culture, and faith are all welcome in the room and none of it gets treated as the problem. My primary approach is Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps us get underneath the patterns to the protective parts and the roles you learned to play to stay safe. I also draw on CBT, DBT, solution-focused strategies, mindfulness, and inner child work, through a trauma-informed, mind-body-spirit lens tailored to you. Healing here isn't about becoming more palatable. It's about coming home to yourself. Email me to schedule a free consultation.
