Kiana Booth
When life is overwhelming, the idea of making a phone call, sending an email, or even googling therapists can feel like an insurmountable task, and I'm glad you took that brave first step in caring for yourself. Whether you are here because you need a safe and inclusive space to process, your anxiety feels unmanageable, or you feel stuck in any manner of ways, my ultimate goal is to empower you as the client, work with you in finding a deeper understanding of yourself, and walk alongside you on your healing journey. My work is rooted in strengths-based, feminist, and narrative approaches, and I draw from a range of other evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs. While I have 7+ years of experience working with adults from all walks of life, I have particular experience and interest in anxiety, trauma, substance use, identity, and life transition issues. I strive to foster an inclusive and liberating space, and always show up authentically in my relationship with clients (pet cameos and curse words included), and my hope is that you will feel comfortable and safe showing up exactly as your are in our relationship and sessions too. I look forward to meeting you where you are with compassion and support.
