Kyle Schofield
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and can provide therapy and assessment services for adults (18+). I have an initial free phone call (15-20 minutes) with each person who is interested in my services to make sure we are a good match and schedule our first visit. If we decide to meet for regular therapy, we would ideally meet weekly for at least a month to get the ball rolling! I have a primary background in cognitive behavioral therapy, but I also use an integrative approach, meaning I often pull in other therapeutic techniques to complement our therapy. I can also meet with folks who need letters for gender-affirming procedures. This is typically a one-time visit for 60-90 minutes, unless you are interested in ongoing therapy as well. During this visit, we talk about your health history, your transition history, and your plans for surgical recovery. I have experience working at a specialty transgender & intersex clinic and have over 9 years of experience working with transgender people in therapy, and I want to make your experience as comfortable and affirming as possible! I can also provide ADHD evaluations. This is typically a 90 minute initial visit, two 60 minute follow up sessions to discuss ADHD symptoms in more detail, and a feedback session to discuss diagnosis. For people who are interested in ADHD behavioral skills work, I can provide this in ongoing therapy. I don't prescribe medications, but if you would like a referral, I am happy to provide one. I am available on weekdays for in-person and telehealth services.
