Laura McAndrew

I am a queer, pro-LGBTQ+, pro-fat massage therapist with a mission to heal and affirm all bodies through customized therapeutic touch. My practice, All Bodies Custom Massage, was founded to advance a vision of a community where everyone, especially fat, trans, and/or queer people, can knowledgeably care for their bodies in service to feeling joy and ease. I emphasize customization so each session is tailored to your needs and preferences, and client education so you can keep caring for your muscles after your massage. Long before I was a massage therapist, I was a chronic muscle and fascia pain patient. I have spent over two decades navigating my own healthcare as a chronically ill queer woman, which drives me to believe you and to strive for a supportive bodywork environment. My “first” career as a public health educator focused on health equity and LGBTQ+ health. We know many “wellness” resources have excluded or been hostile to those with marginalized identities and experiences. It is my hope and intention that whatever your body size and shape, whatever your gender, and whatever else makes you who you are, that you will feel validated and comfortable here.
