Anova Center for Therapy is a queer-owned, LGBTQ+ affirming practice in Philadelphia specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma therapy, and gender-affirming care. Many of our clinicians are queer and/or trans themselves, and we are intentional about creating approachable care that is both clinically rigorous and grounded in lived experience. We offer in-person services in Philadelphia and telehealth across Pennsylvania, with PSYPACT-authorized clinicians able to work with clients in 40+ states. We support individuals who feel stuck in patterns of emotional overwhelm, borderline personality disorder (BPD), chronic self-harm, chronic suicidal thoughts and behaviors, anxiety, or relationship distress, and who are looking for a more structured, skills-based approach. Our comprehensive DBT program includes individual therapy, DBT skills groups, and between-session coaching to help you apply what you’re learning in your day-to-day life. In your first session, we’ll take time to understand your goals, walk you through how DBT works, and determine whether this level of care is the right fit for you. We also offer gold-standard trauma treatment for PTSD using Prolonged Exposure (PE), as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
