Lauren Weisberg
My approach to therapy is culturally-sensitive, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed. I believe firmly that all therapy should be gender-affirming, be sex-positive (if relevant), and promote health-at-every size. Therapy can bring up emotions from which you have been protecting yourself for a long time. Those emotions can be painful, but healing cannot happen when those feelings are left unresolved. Discomfort is a part of the process, and we can work together to make sure this discomfort doesn’t escalate to feeling totally overwhelmed or dysregulated. Being outside your comfort zone is where the growth and healing happen, and any time it feels like “too much” we can slow the process down.
