Lee Wells
Welcome, I'm Lee, therapist, clinical director, and co-owner at MIND CHICAGO! At Mind, we focus on what is important to our clients by individualizing each therapeutic experience. Mind Chicago therapists are unique because they are highly trained in science-based approaches. These therapies often take years to learn, practice, and hone to best support clients and families. Evidence-based therapies, such as DBT, ACT, and others, are distinctly person/child-centered and prioritize the therapeutic relationship while working on acceptance, change, healing, and resilience. Our therapists receive intensive, ongoing training and team consultation to ensure they are aiding families with the most up-to-date, holistic approaches. In other words, we take your therapy seriously and spend time outside the therapy office doing the work to make therapy meaningful and helpful for you and/or your child. Who am I? I'm a therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, depression, and OCD. As a queer therapist, I also specialize in supporting LGBTQI+ folks and their families.
