She/Her, They/Them

Lindita Ismaili PT, DPT, CRGA, COMT (she/they pronouns) is a New Yorker through and though. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she is committed to looking after her community in NYC! Lindita is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment for individuals within the QTPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. As an active member of the NYPTA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee, she strives to enhance accessibility and create opportunities for minorities and LGBTQIA+ individuals within the physical therapy field. Additionally, Lindita is passionate about using her expertise to support underserved populations, regularly volunteering on medical missions to Mexico and India, where she provides physical therapy to those facing limited access to care. With more than ten years of experience focused on orthopedics, she combines her expertise as both a certified running gait analyst (CRGA) and a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's mobility, strength, and technique needs. She has a passion for helping individuals recover and return to their preferred sports. Having played as a shooting guard during her college basketball career, she deeply understands the commitment and perseverance required to reach one's goals. Her work starts with listening to her patients; their worries, fears, hopes, and goals. From here, she evaluates and develops specific treatment plans for her patients, implementing manual treatment, customized therapeutic exercises, and providing education for her patients so they may continue to work on their bodies and reach their health goals.
