Lisa Srok
As a registered provisional art therapist and licensed graduate professional counselor, my professional work is rooted in embracing opportunities for reflection, exploring new perspectives, and finding meaningful connections. I am dedicated to recognizing and honoring the intersectionality of identity. My work is informed by the integrative belief that personal well-being encompasses all parts of self, which includes mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. When used in a therapeutic setting, art-making is about the process not the product. Art therapy sessions can include passive drawing; creating non-objective artwork to practice mindfulness, reduce stress, and engage in emotional expression; or subjective art therapy directives to explore feelings and and gain personal insight. The artwork created in an art therapy session varies greatly, because our time together is tailored to your needs.
