Lori Zaspel
Lori Zaspel (she/they) is a clinical social worker serving the greater Philadelphia area who specializes in grief, medical social work, and end of life issues. She received her masters in social work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 and her LCSW in 2021. In addition to private grief practice, she work as a therapist at Main Line Counseling & Wellness, and is a co-founder and death doula with the Philly Death Doula Collective. Lori is also a collaborator with the Salt Trails Collective. She utilizes relational-cultural, humanistic, feminist, narrative, and constructivist approaches in her work. She is trained in Level 1 – EMDR by EMDRIA-HAP and began training in Somatic Experiencing. Lori is a white, queer, currently able bodied woman living in West Philadelphia with her partner, kooky dog, and ancient cat. She strives to operate with an anti-racist and anti-capitalist lens and center social justice in her therapeutic work as well as in her life.
