As the founder of Arcus Behavioral Health and Wellness, Dr. Haynes is passionate about providing therapy that not only helps individuals overcome obstacles they face, but helps enhance their overall well-being and satisfaction with their lives. His practice is dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, culturally-sensitive, and accepting atmosphere where clients feel supported, understood, and can work collaboratively to solve problems. He seeks to empower individuals, help them to identify their own internal strengths, and find more meaning, joy, and fulfillment from their lives and relationships. Dr. Haynes attended Adler University, where he graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology and masters in counseling psychology. He provides treatment to individuals, couples, adolescents, and children, and specializes in working with patients from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ individuals and couples as well as transgender individuals beginning the process of transitioning. He has advanced training in a variety of therapeutic models, including national certification as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and also specializes in helping clients deal with shame, as well as children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic events. Dr. Haynes is also fluent in Spanish and welcomes immigrants and Latinx into his practice.
