Dr. Shi is a Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health and an Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University. Dr. Shi specializes in cosmetic and complex reconstructive surgeries of the face and neck, with a focus on gender-affirming facial surgery. A native New Yorker, Dr. Shi graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her medical degree from Emory University. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University and then pursued an elite fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Seattle, WA, where she refined her skills in gender-affirming facial surgery, facial rejuvenation, facial reconstruction, and facial reanimation procedures. Dr. Shi is recognized for her meticulous attention to detail, artistic eye, and patient-centered approach. She believes in crafting personalized treatment plans that honor each patient’s individuality while achieving harmonious and natural results.
