M Joyce-Anderson
Are you seeking compassionate support as you navigate issues around gender identity, sexuality, and mental health concerns to embracing your authentic self? My name is M and I am a white, queer and trans social worker who has spent much of my career advocating for and supporting LGBTQ+ folks of all ages. I have worked across levels of care including in-home therapy, inpatient care, and crisis work. Most recently I have worked as co-director of a gender clinic supporting individuals and their families on their gender journey. I approach my clinical practice from a person-centered framework and believe recovery is possible through the creation of non-directive, supportive relationship building. My goal is to work from a space of humility and openness, as well as awareness of larger forms of systemic oppression that impact the people I work with.
