Mackenzie Purnell
My practice focus is assisting adults and adolescents as they begin to address difficult aspects of their lives, past, present, or future. Your unique life experiences will help direct our work together. The counseling process can encourage self-reflection, which often leads to a more meaningful life. By the end of our sessions, I want to have supported your goals, helped you identify strengths and values, and assisted you in establishing meaningful resources that will continue to support you. I work from a person-centered, mindfulness-informed, and trauma-informed and focused lens by prioritizing your lived experienced and identified needs. Through our work together, you may begin to identify values, mindfully engage in life and relationships, and experience a more adaptive life. I aim to provide everyone with a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Providing a culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming space is highly important to me as a therapist. I am committed to supporting folx through new stressors and fears. I am honored to be included in a part of your journey toward wellness, and I look forward to meeting with you.
