Mark Ellestad
I am a double board-certified psychiatrist in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry providing outpatient care for adults in Seattle and throughout Washington State via telehealth and in-person visits. My practice focuses on evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders, panic disorder, depression, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. I work collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and coordination with other healthcare providers when helpful. I provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals and bring my own lived experience as a gay man into my work, which I believe offers valuable perspective and understanding when supporting members of this community. I recognize how identity, relationships, minority stress, stigma, and societal pressures can affect mental health and access to care. My goal is to create a safe, respectful clinical environment where patients feel understood while also receiving thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to their goals and needs.
