Mark Monfasani

I provide psychiatric care at Empowered Psychiatry in MA and CA, but I used to work in primary care, HIV care, transgender care, and sexual health in Los Angeles and Boston. I listen and to work toward your goals, without forcing any agendas, but with some light humor along way. My background in other areas of healthcare helps me try to work on caring for people as a whole, and I focus on each person's goals in their own context. I'm comfortable with LGBT health, including trans health, kink/fetish, HIV care, non-monogamy, sex workers, and atheists, and I'm not going to judge you for substance use, but I'll help you stop or moderate it if you want. If it matters, I studied to be a Psych/Mental Health NP at Johns Hopkins, I have a masters in Chinese religion and philosophy from Boston University, and I love nerding out about lots of things.
