Megan McIlmail
Megan McIlmail, MSW (she/her or any pronouns with good intent) is now offering her in-person and telehealth services as a pre-licensed professional at Glacier Mental and Family Health Solutions in Eagle River, Alaska. Megan identifies as a neurodivergent queer woman and a military and law enforcement family member, with a strong passion for supporting LGBTQ2+ individuals, people with disabilities, non-monogamous/polyamorous individuals, and those along the perinatal continuum (pre-pregnancy/prenatal/postnatal/abortion). She brings her experience as a domestic violence advocate and case manager in nonprofit/healthcare settings, as well as a research and interdisciplinary practice background. She is a member of the National Association of Perinatal Social Workers and received the 2025 Arctic Health Emerging Professional Award from the American Society for Circumpolar Health for her research contribution on breastfeeding and maternal nutrition in Alaska. Her approach is humanistic and holistic, drawing upon her knowledge of trauma-informed care and somatic practices. She is currently accepting adult (18 years or older) clients.
