Michele Larson

Hey, Hey! I’m Michele (she/her) and I am a cisgender, queer, AUDHD therapist who believes deeply in the power of connection, curiosity, and compassion in the healing process. I am passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals, complex trauma, those living with personality disorders, survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, and individuals who have committed sexual harm. I approach this work with care, accountability, and a commitment to transformation. My therapeutic style is trauma-focused, relational, and grounded in social justice. I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, and Relational Theory to help clients identify, understand, and care for the parts of themselves that may need more attention, patience, or love. In sessions, I bring warmth, humor, radical acceptance, and a steady belief in your capacity to heal, learn, and grow. I aim to create a space where you feel supported in building insight, resilience, and empowerment—at your own pace. I believe our well-being is best supported when we honor both the beautiful and messy ways we are connected to ourselves and to others. Therapy, to me, is inherently political—it is resistance, it is radical, and should be a human right rather than a luxury. I earned my Master of Social Work from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and completed my undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology at Edgewood College. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend watching documentaries, walking our pup, Marigold, and crafting. I also love tending to my many houseplants, bicycling, and dismantling systems of oppression, one awkward but necessary conversation at a time.
