Michele Tulk
I received my ‘Master of Science in Nursing – Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner’ degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2013 and then continued my training by completing a University of Washington Community-Based Integrated Care Fellowship in 2018. In 2021 I completed a year-long Transgender Health ECHO program through the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center at the Fenway Institute. I have 12+ years of experience prescribing mental health medications to veterans, college students, and adults of all ages and walks of life in the outpatient setting. I have completed formal training and consultation in Motivational Interviewing and Telehealth, and consider managing mental health medications, particularly in clients living with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and neurodivergence my specialty. I am a foodie, love dogs and cats equally, and one of my favorite things to do is play video games. I enjoy both exploring new places on foot and sitting in my divot on the couch and sipping hot tea. I can bake a pretty mean coconut cream pie.
