Mimi Hoang
I'm Dr. Mimi (she/her) of Living in Color Therapy. I believe that it takes great courage to take that first step in reaching out for help, whether you are coming from a place of sadness, anxiety, loneliness, grief, or confusion. It can also feel scary to look inward and honor your truth and to let your "true colors" shine. Together, we can process and sort through the pain and help you find meaning, clarity, healing, joy, and connection. I've been a licensed therapist for 15+ years, in addition to being an author, educator, and advocate on gender, sexuality, race, and culture. I have extensive experience with LGBTQIA+ populations, and am a recognized expert on bisexual, pansexual, fluid, and queer (AKA bi+) individuals and am one of the leading practitioners of bi+ affirmative therapy. Specializations: women's issues, LGBTQIA+ individuals, especially bi+ individuals, BIPOC individuals, queer and trans BIPOC individuals, 1st and 2nd generation Asian Americans, and individuals struggling with anxiety, social anxiety and social dissatisfaction, family conflicts, and concerns w/ sex, dating, and marriage. I'm polyamory- & kink-knowledgeable.
