Hi, I’m Nick! As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I approach my work with the belief that real change happens when you not only feel understood, but also begin to understand yourself on a deeper level. I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University, and my professional journey has centered around working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. In my work within private practice, I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including men and members of the LGBTQ+ community, many of whom come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. These experiences have shaped my ability to meet clients with both empathy and direction—helping them feel supported while also creating meaningful progress. No matter who I’m working with, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being real—where you don’t have to filter yourself or have everything figured out. I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you work through overthinking, emotional overwhelm, past experiences, and patterns that no longer serve you. What sets my approach apart is the balance between insight and action. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma-informed care with person-centered, existential, humanistic, and solution-focused approaches, along with mindfulness and creative interventions. This allows us to not only explore the “why” behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, but also develop practical tools you can use in your everyday life. Therapy with me isn’t just about talking—it’s about helping you feel more in control, more grounded, and more like yourself again. In my work, I’ve found that many people—especially men—haven’t always had the space or language to fully explore their emotions or identity. I’m passionate about helping clients build that awareness, strengthen their relationships, and develop a more authentic connection to themselves.
