At your first visit with me as your provider, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where your health and well-being are the top priority. As a Physician Assistant with a strong commitment to LGBTQ+ care, I am here to listen to you and to provide care that is respectful, inclusive, and personalized to your needs. During your first visit, I will ask questions to gather a complete health history. This will include questions that are relevant to your LGBTQ+ identity, as well as general health questions. I will approach these topics with sensitivity, always giving you the space to answer or not answer, depending on your comfort level. I will create a safe space where you can express yourself openly without fear of judgment. Your experiences, identity, and personal health matters are valued, and I am committed to fostering an environment that respects who you are. I will be respectful of your gender identity, sexual orientation, and any other unique aspects of your identity. You are in control of how you want to share information about yourself. If you need medications, tests, or referrals, I will guide you through the options available to you, always making sure the plan is aligned with your goals, identity, and preferences. If you are considering or undergoing gender-affirming care, I can offer resources, counsel, and support for your journey in a way that aligns with your personal values and aspirations. Your privacy and confidentiality are essential. Everything you share with me remains confidential unless you choose to share it otherwise.
