My passion for counseling comes from my own journey with anxiety, depression, and self-identity challenges in a rural community. I know how isolating it can feel to be unsure of who to turn to or how to move forward. That’s why I’m committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself, explore your feelings, and discover your strength. These personal experiences inspired me to open my private practice, Counseling in the Holler, LLC. Having navigated challenges myself, I wanted to create a space where others could find support, healing, and understanding in a compassionate, inclusive environment. What makes my approach unique is the blend of therapeutic techniques I use, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among others. I tailor each session to your specific needs, helping you develop meaningful goals, gain new skills, and build resilience for whatever challenges you face. As a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community, I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals like you—helping you navigate life’s hurdles with confidence, build self-esteem, and develop lasting coping strategies. With my experience in diverse settings—from inpatient rehab to schools—I’m equipped to work with those facing both mental health and substance use challenges. At Counseling in the Holler, LLC, I offer telehealth services across Kentucky. I currently accept some insurance providers and I am in the process of becoming an in-network provider for Medicaid. Founded in January 2025, our mission is to expand our services throughout the year, ensuring that everyone, particularly those from marginalized communities, has access to affordable counseling. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and working to break the stigma surrounding mental health.
