Nina Parks
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California, who specializes in trauma and working with QTBIPOC clients. My goal as a therapist is to collaboratively work with clients to heal from trauma and mental health concerns. I believe sharing identities with your therapist can be a part of the healing process. As a Black and Latina queer woman, I have both the lived experience and training to support clients who identify as Black, POC, and LGBTQIA+. As well as supporting fellow survivors of sexual violence and other forms of interpersonal violence. I am an eclectic therapist, which means I pull from all the therapy styles I have been trained in to support your needs. I am trained in EMDR (a PTSD therapy), CBT (a cognitive therapy for anxiety and depression), mindfulness, and somatic therapy (supports with physical and mental symptoms). Together, we find what works best for you and your needs.
