Nisia Thornton

I am an RN BSN MSN currently working as the nurse clinician for outpatient IV antimicrobial therapy at Univ of Cinci Health. I am a founding member of the interdisciplinary gender affirming care group at UC/UC Health. I am currently available virtually for care navigation, advocacy, networking, and empowering providers, esp. nurses, to practice to the fullest extent of their licenses. I will hold confidential any personal stories unless I assess the speaker is a danger to themselves or others. I am politically active in the Kentucky Democratic Party, in the non-partisan Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, and in Ohio. I founded the KY Demo Party's LGBTQIA Council in 2021. I'm an active member of the OH Nurses & KY Nurses Associations.
