Noelle Jacobsen
I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in reproductive and perinatal mental health, and I provide care in a fully LGBTQIA+-affirming virtual space. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or big life transitions connected to pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, menstrual changes, or menopause. For LGBTQIA+ patients, these experiences can also include navigating identity, relationships, family-building, dysphoria, or healthcare systems that haven’t always felt safe or inclusive. You deserve care that understands all of that without needing to explain or justify who you are. I care for queer, trans, and nonbinary patients across a wide range of experiences, including pregnancy and postpartum care, fertility journeys, gender-affirming care alongside mental health treatment, and the emotional impact of hormonal changes. My approach is respectful, collaborative, and grounded in your values, your identity, and your goals. I offer thoughtful, evidence-based medication management with clear, honest conversations so you can make decisions that feel right for your body and your life. Many patients come to me unsure about medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or after feeling dismissed or not fully heard elsewhere. My role is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in your care. Visits are by telehealth. In our first appointment, we take time to understand your story, your symptoms, and what matters most to you. From there, we create a plan together, which may include medication, therapy referrals, or both. I’m happy to collaborate with your therapist or other providers to support your care. I serve patients in Alaska and Hawaiʻi, where access to affirming, specialized care can be limited, and I’m committed to providing care that is inclusive, respectful, and culturally aware. If you’re looking for a provider who understands both mental health and the complexity of reproductive and LGBTQIA+ experiences, you’re in the right place.
