Making the step to go to therapy can be a daunting one; initial sessions with me are spent discussing your background, expectations, and apprehensions about the process. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma focused interventions, and techniques relevant to your needs. I also provide psychological evaluations for ADHD, Autism & mood related diagnoses. My clients range from adolescents to adults, presenting with concerns around depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, family discord, work & academic stress/conflict, gender and sexual identity, racism, and relationship problems. My African identity has also attracted first generation, non-immigrant, and immigrant clients who are navigating what "home" means for them and aspects of their cultural identity. I have worked with individuals who are coming to therapy for the first time and those who want a change of pace in their journey; what all my clients have in common is that they're ready and willing to explore change. Making sure that we're a good fit is important to me. Feel free to schedule a complimentary 15 minute consultation video chat with me to discuss any questions or goals you have related to the therapy process.
