Patricio Battani
Patricio has more than 23 years of professional, volunteer, and academic-based experience in public health and communications, focusing on HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health. Patricio holds Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees, and his breadth of experience includes fieldwork, multi-organizational programming, program creation, communications, and research. His work focuses on the importance of viewing health equity through the lens of trauma informed approaches including historical, intergenerational, and personal trauma. Working to share an understanding that social determinants of health are a result of systematic issues and not inherent to a Person's race, gender, class, etc. Patricio attended the American Institute of Education in Tustin, California; where he studied Thermolysis, Electrolysis, and The Blend Method. He completed more than 800 hours of study.
