Porter Woody
I work with people from a diverse cross section of life and many of my clients are people of the global majority (POC, BIPOC, mixed), LGBTQIA+, have intersectional identities, are dealing with life transitions (i.e. quarter- & mid-life crisis), and anyone looking to feel more integrated, especially given the constrictive and oppressive systems we all have to navigate. With humor and authenticity, I am here to guide and support your journey of growing, expanding, and becoming the version of selfhood that you desire. My work is grounded in collaboration and a belief that we all hold deep wisdom and insight into our own healing. My communication style is direct, compassionate, nonjudgemental, and curious. Therapy can be profoundly uncomfortable as we grapple with vulnerability, humility, & tenderness. I believe therapy work gives a mirror of what we may not be able to see on our own, but with another, can navigate audaciously and creatively. "When we drop fear, we can draw nearer to people...the earth...to all the heavenly creatures that surround us." b.h.
