Rachel Colby
I believe that compassionate LGBTQIA+ Care is a key component of primary care, and that high quality gender affirming hormone care not only enhances the health of our community, but saves lives. My clinical practice includes general primary care, hormone prescribing, PrEP, PEP, pap smear, sexual health testing and preventive counseling. I strive to provide care that is sex positive, trauma informed and patient centered. I completed residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. I have practiced in Toledo with ProMedica since 2020 and I am an associate clinical professor with the University of Toledo College of Medicine, where I routinely lecture on LGBTQIA+ care. I am also an active WPATH member committed to evidence-based, affirming care for all patients. Outside of work, I enjoy biking, baking sourdough and playing boardgames with my wife.
