Rachel Mukai
Therapy with me is less about “fixing” and more about creating a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Healing happens in safe, compassionate relationships, and my goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and rediscover your own strength. My style is warm, collaborative, and conversational. I draw from evidence-based approaches, but I also believe in the power of humor, curiosity, and real human connection. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, not like you’re in a clinical box. I support people navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and feeling stuck in old patterns. I often work with LGBTQ+ clients, those wanting to untangle the impact of religious trauma, and partners wanting deeper connection (including ENM, BDSM, and kink communities). My approach is person-centered, attachment-based, and includes EFT for couples. Whether this is your first time or your hundredth time, starting therapy can be scary. My job is to ease some of that fear and provide a safe and comfortable place for you to explore life's harsh complexities along with life's joys. Feel free to reach out for a 15 minute consultation where we will explore your needs and see if we are a good fit!
