Raschell Bailey
Are you feeling unseen, unheard, or invalidated? I see you! I am passionate about making space for those that are not the majority. Whether you’re advanced in years, Black & Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) or LGBTQ I understand being underserved and lacking positive representation. I enjoy teaching realistic skills to reach wellness, cope with grief, love & protect ourselves mentally and emotionally with boundaries. I think outside of the box and incorporate culture with use of creative alternatives like expressive arts therapy, movement therapy, music & scream therapy. Unapologetica authenticit is what we will aim for together! Since 2006 I have provided individual, group, couples, & family counseling. I now solely concentrate on making mental health services accessible to underserved individuals within the BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA communities. I write letters for gender affirming care. I also aim to assist those dealing with grief, death and dying in our retirement communities. I was raised in Mid-west suburbia and know what it is like to feel or look different than those around you. Representation Matters! I want to humanize and normalize treatment. I volunteer and work with One N Ten, as well as Camp Anytown, seeking to motivate others toward emotional liberation and legitimate validation.
