Robyn Olsen

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing affirming, trauma-informed therapy for LGBTQ+ adults navigating anxiety, relationships, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm and want to better understand themselves and their relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help you explore the different parts of yourself—like the inner critic, justice seeker, or anxious part—so you can relate to your experiences with more clarity and self-compassion. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels supportive. As someone who came to understand my own identity as a lesbian later in life, I have a deep respect for the complexity, grief, clarity, and growth that can come with this process. I bring that lived understanding into my work, offering a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your experience. I offer individual therapy for anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, and LGBTQ+ identity exploration, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported in becoming more fully yourself.
