Ronica Mukerjee
Ronica Mukerjee DNP, MsA, AAHIVS is a psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner and acupuncturist and a certified HIV-specialist. Dr. Mukerjee DNP is currently an assistant professor at Columbia University and provides both psychiatric care and hormonal care for trans and gender diverse patients as well as others. She has also been practicing Chinese medicine for over 20 years and Western medicine since 2008. Since 2022, Dr. Mukerjee has been providing psychiatric medications including ketamine treatments for appropriate patients and is trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Dr Mukerjee DNP is passionate about racial, economic and health care justice in LGBTQIA+, refugees and migrant communities, for people with substance use disorders, and for people living with HIV. Dr. Mukerjee is senior editor of the textbook: Clinicians Guide to LGBTQIA+ Care: Cultural Safety and Social Justice in Primary, Sexual, and Reproductive Healthcare, published in February 2021 and has co-authored several articles as well as offered expert speaking on various topics.
