Sandy Fulkerson Schaeffer
I am a family medicine primary care provider seeing patients of all ages. I graduated from the dual PA, MPH program at George Washington University in 2017 and moved to Salem, Oregon to work at Northwest Human Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center. My specialities within primary care include gender-affirming health care (including prescribing hormones to patients 18+, can refer pediatric patients to Pediatric Endocrinology and assume prescribing at age 18), medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders, reproductive health and prenatal care (including placement of IUDs, Nexplanons, and following low-risk pregnancy through the second trimester). My clinic has on-site psychiatry, counseling, and behavioral health to which I refer. I always seek to provide patient-centered, trauma-informed, whole-person care. I look forward to meeting you!
