Sarah Porter
Dr. Porter started Madison Neuropsychological Services in 2016 with the goal of providing quality comprehensive neuropsychological assessment to patients of varying degrees of abilities from diverse backgrounds. As a working mother of two children, Dr. Porter strives to balance the demands of her practice with those of family. From a professional standpoint, Dr. Porter is a licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in lifespan neuropsychology. Dr. Porter has extensive experience in the field of neuropsychology, including the diagnostic assessment of complex neurologic, medical, and psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. Dr. Porter received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in health and neuropsychology, from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC. Dr. Porter has completed an accredited pre-doctoral internship along with a two-year post-doctoral fellowship focusing on comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and adults. Professional affiliations include: The National Register of Health Service Psychologists, The National Academy of Neuropsychology, and The American Psychological Association Society for Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Porter also served on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin from 2016-2019. Outside of the office, Dr. Porter enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
